I created FounderBlog in 2006 as a way to "pay it forward" by sharing the entrepreneurial, leadership and company culture lessons I've learned through the years.
As an engineer turned entrepreneur, I've launched 5 companies resulting in $5 billion of market value, $1 billion in sales, 2 IPOs, 4 acquisitions and $300 million capital raised.
Now I'm on to my next adventure - TinkerBarn Ventures, an Impact focused Startup Studio & Early Stage Venture Fund. Our mission is to change the world in a big way through the little things that matter most, by building & investing in startups with impact.
I look forward to sharing, please do the same...
I decided to try doing a video blog post. Here is a tour that I did of the Rubicon Project headquarters and all of the thought that we have put into things like culture, communication, efficiency, team development (and a little fun)… We have woven these things into our environment and I thought I’d share our thinking with you.
Some highlights to look out for:
Furnished on a low budget (IKEA furniture, etc.)
“No Office Policy” – everyone sits out on the open
